A trade license (Živnostenský list) is the first thing, to begin with. A sole proprietor (osoba samostatně výdělečně činná or OSVČ) is a physical person who earns their income from carrying out a business and/or self-employment (a freelancer or entrepreneur).
Registration Trade License
To obtain your Trade License you must apply to the trade license office together with proof of citizenship or legal residence in the Czech Republic (usually long-term or permanent residence), a non-criminal record, or an affidavit confirming you have no criminal record from the Czech Republic (and/or the country of origin), a confirmation of your business address, and a fee of CZK 1,000.
